Hotels can now add promotions for special offers and events

VegTrip today released a new functionality for hotel managers to add promotions for their hotels. This will give hotel managers the ability to highlight special offers and time limited events at their property and for travelers to see where interesting things are happening.

Adding a promotion to your property is easy. Simply login, click on Hotel Owners and check the Manage my promotions box. It lists all the current promotions for your properties. Click Create new promotion.

On the next page, select the property from the list, then select a start and end date for the promotion. A promotion can not last for more than two months. The dates put here indicates when the promotion will be displayed on our website so you might want to set the begin date to be a bit in advance of your offer.

Click on Insert and you are done! Your promotion will now be randomly rotated on the first page of VegTrip.

A maximum of three promotions per hotel can be created at the same time so make sure to remove or update old promotions to be able to add new ones.

We will look at additional ways of displaying these promotions in the future and we plan to add a dedicated promotions page which shows all active promotions right now as well as adding promotions to the hotel page. We might also look at highlighting properties with promotions on the map.

If you have suggestions on how to take this further, don't hesitate to get in contact.

Luxurious vegetarian paradise in Mumbai, India

There is no doubt that India is one of the top destinations for vegetarians. With nearly 30% of the population being strict vegetarian and a big part of the others having varying degrees of meat restrictions vegetarian meals usually makes up more than half of the menu in most restaurants. With so many different dietary requirements, many restaurants are also accustomed to modifications, which is good news for all vegans.

One of the latest additions to VegTrip, The Trident Bandra Kurla is a luxurious five star hotel in Mumbai. Featuring three different restaurants (Indian, Italian and mixed) all having large vegetarian selections and being extremely flexible with special dietary requirements (vegan, gluten...) this hotel guarantees a warm welcome to India.
