Luxurious vegetarian paradise in Mumbai, India

There is no doubt that India is one of the top destinations for vegetarians. With nearly 30% of the population being strict vegetarian and a big part of the others having varying degrees of meat restrictions vegetarian meals usually makes up more than half of the menu in most restaurants. With so many different dietary requirements, many restaurants are also accustomed to modifications, which is good news for all vegans.

One of the latest additions to VegTrip, The Trident Bandra Kurla is a luxurious five star hotel in Mumbai. Featuring three different restaurants (Indian, Italian and mixed) all having large vegetarian selections and being extremely flexible with special dietary requirements (vegan, gluten...) this hotel guarantees a warm welcome to India.

Health Centers using food for natural healing

VegTrip is not only a great place to find vegan or vegetarian accommodations, but it also features many health centers using food as a way to heal illnesses. Food and health has always been closely connected and more and more evidence is starting to emerge regarding the health benefits of a plant based diet (Hint: Read The China Study by Colin Campbell or How to Prevent and Revert Heart Disease by Caldwell Esselstyn).

Here is a selection of Health Centers available on VegTrip

Planning a vacation to Greece? How about staying at a certified organic and vegetarian hotel?

Until recently VegTrip has not had any hotels listed on the Greek market. Very unfortunate as this is such a beautiful country and a major tourist destination in Europe.

Meet Mani Sonnenlink. Certified in 2012 as the first organic hotel in Greece, this hotel lies embedded in a beautiful, natural garden, located on a hillside and overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. It is a place of relaxation and regeneration, inspiring body, mind and soul. It is also the first vegetarian hotel in Greece to be added to VegTrip!

Here are some pictures to enjoy.
